When I was a kid people always asked me to speak up at church or memorize lines for an upcoming play. Then people started to ask for help with writing and composing letters to officials. I was happy to help but had no idea, even back in the 90s, that people could get paid for that kind of work.
I pretty much assumed that after I left the navy I was going to go and work in an office. I didn't know what I was going to do in that office, but I figured that's what former officers did. But the call to write and learn communications had been inside of me all of this time.
After graduating from the United States Naval Academy and serving as a naval officer, I found myself floating from job to job until I became a business and computer teacher. That's when I first started to learn I could make money as a writer. I have devoted my time and money, ever since that day in 2008, to learning more and honing my craft.
I have come to realize that not only is writing (and now podcasting) a great way for me to share ideas but professionals and executives could use the same articles to express their thoughts and build brand awareness. It is now my pleasure to help you do just that.
